BOOK 4: Instabillite

AUTHOR: ALESCI NEHTDOF

RELEVANT INFO: The Russian pop designer Alesci Nehtdof was a contemporary and famed fanatic of the theories of Thane Fiescold. Nehtdof claimed that his Counter-Virtruvian chair,"The lnstabillite," had actually fallen from space— and that it would whisper to him when no one else was around. He professed that the chair had said, 'I am from the void, I care not for Up, I care not for down — I strive only for sitting.' Both the artist and his chair mysteriously disappeared shortly afterward. Despite his cult popularity in the art world, Thane Fiescold's philosophy would not be put into practice in the architectural world for several decades after his own supposed death.
